The Alice Springs Cycling Club has been operating since the 29th June 1966. We operate to promote all cycling in Central Australia where we have a world class outside velodrome, easy access to endless mountain trails and the Simpson Gap bike path.

The Club provides a broad variety of cycling activities including road and mountain bike social rides and road, track and mountain bike. racing. A full racing Calendar can be downloaded from this site.

We also offer special annual events like the 3 day King’s Canyon Cruise from 1st - 3rd May 2010 and the 2 day Tennant Creek Barkly Agencies Challenge on 17th and 18th July 2010.

Training and Social Rides Rides

Track Training at the Dalgety Road Velodrome Wednesdays from 5.30pm- 7.00pm for Juniors and 7.00pm onwards for Seniors. Bikes available for hire.

Track Racing at the Dalgety Road Velodrome from 6.30pm on Friday evenings. Bikes available for hire.

Ilparpa Loop (42km) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday depart from opposite Shell Larapinta at 5.30am

North Stuart Highway on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5.30am onwards.  Re group at Bond Springs turn off by 6.30am to ride back with the bunch.

Social Ride meets every Sunday at Hungry Jacks at 7.00am for a ride between 50 - 60km average speed of 27km. New riders welcomed.

Coffee Please join us for a social coffee after each of the rides!
