Hosted by the Darwin Cycling Club over the weekend of the 18th and 19th September.  Online entries via Cycling NT website close on 9th September. Financial travel support available from the ASCC for members travelling to Darwin.

2010 NT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS


The NT Track Championships are being hosted by the ASCC over the Easter long weekend on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd April 2010.  Competitors will be travelling from Mt Isa, Darwin and Kununurra so there will be plenty of action.  Volunteers needed to assist with time keeping, holding and canteen duties.  Contact Craig Hodge on 0407 818161.  Online race entry is available through the Cycling NT website or download an entry form from this site.

  
 
 
 

CycleSkill Junior Program


The CycleSkill Junior program that was being run on a Friday from 5.00pm - 6.00pm has finished. Normal Track Racing is still happening from 6.45pm on a Friday evening, with gates opening at 6.30pm.  For further information on Track Racing please contact Craig Hodge on 89528742

Attention All Trackies

Starting this Wednesday 02 Sep 2009, Official Track Training will commence.
Juniors 5:30 - 7pm, and then Seniors after that.

First night of Racing will be Friday 4th Sep 7pm.

Please join us in starting the new Track Season.

So come all and enjoy the fun. This year ASCC Track is without TJ "MainEvent" Mathieson, but we wish him well with his training back in LA (Secret Squirrel indicates TJ is training hard with the Current Canadian National Champ).

Now come watch the Juniors and Killer McKinley Beat Heyburn, and best of all ITS FREE to watch.

Laura McKinley, Amber Hughes, Paul Standish, Aden Patterson. Also the dark horse is Alex Williams Skipsey - improving weekly.

  This years Day in the Dirt MTB Enduro is coming up fast - 22nd Aug.  Get your team together for either the 4 or 8 hour event.  Lots of great prizes and "cash" to be won.  Registration at Penny Farthing Avanti Plus 5.30pm - 7.00pm 19th August.  This years race venue is the Scout Hall, and presentation event at the Prison Officers Rec Centre. For more information visit the events page at http://www.alicespringscyclingclub.com.au/calender.php   
 
 
  *** ATTENTION TRACK RIDERS ***

Beginning this Sunday at 1pm (1300) Winter Track Training will commence.

If you wish to get early form to beat Mike Heyburn or Diver Dan, then now is the time to put in some miles and sprint training.

Winter Training is open to both Juniors and Seniors. First timers are extremely welcome, and encouraged to attend.

Sessions will be relaxed and enjoyable for all. Special guest appearance by TJ "The Main Event" Mathieson, who along with Michelle (MM) will be leaving for Sunny California and possible USA Nationals selection. Secret Squirrel informs me that a shot at US Olympics for Track is on the cards .... standby for more.

Cost will be as per previous years, 2 dollars for training and 2 dollars for bike hire, juniors only, 2 dollars for training and 5 dollars for bike hire, seniors, or bring your own and pay just 2 dollars.

So if you want to see Mike Heyburn get flogged by Keiran McKinley and the Junior Female and Male riders for FREE, then the Dalgety Rd Velodrome is the place for you.
